General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Update to Privacy Policy & Terms of Service

GDPR is the General Data Protection Regulation, a legislation passed by the EU and enforceable as of May 25, 2018. GDPR maintains that data protection is a fundamental human right and it is the responsibility of any company that controls and processes data to protect that right.

We value our relationship with you and your privacy. To ensure you understand the data we collect from you, how it is being used, and the controls you have over it, we are updating our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. These updates will take effect May 25, 2018.

Here are some highlights of the changes we’ve made:

  • More clarity and data transparency: We simplified language around the information we collect from our customers and how it is used, along with explanations of your choices for controlling personal information.
  • We have updated our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for GDPR compliance and to make it easier to understand.
  • GDPR: We’ve worked hard to make sure our policies and practices meet the high standard for data privacy introduced by the new European Union data protection law known as the General Data Protection Regulation (or GDPR).
  • We've reaffirmed Huami’s commitment to the responsible collection, use, transfer, disclosure, and management of your personal information.
  • Implemented Internal Trainings & Processes to ensure our entire team is aware of GDPR requirements.

We encourage you to take the time to review our revised Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. By continuing to use Amazfit products and services on or after May 25, 2018, you acknowledge our updated Privacy Policy and agree to our updated Terms of Service.
