Amazfit mini 4 review
good to use ... using for two weeks around...good for basic use

Excellent battery life and features
The battery easily lasts about 2 weeks even with messages enabled, which is something of great importance to me, personally! If that’s you - go for it!

Nice smart watch
Light weight and looks nice on h to e wrist. There are a lot of face plate options, but would be nice if they would allow more custimization of adding widgets to the designs.

Worth for the price
Nice watch to have with great features

Great Fitness Tracker, Okay smartwatch, AMOLEDs are overrated
I don't like leaving lots of reviews, because it can be a huge waste of time, but I think it's worth mentioning it about watches like these. Most smartwatches on the market are missing something big that separates them from being really great. I mean, on paper most of the high profile brands seem good, but if you can't sleep with the watch, then you have to hope that its functionality makes up for the lost feature. Unfortunately, while Amazfit has made marginal improvements to their standards watches over the last 4 years, some basic functionality separates it from the Apples Watches and Samsungs: they can't send text replies to texts. Sure, they can do that for calls, but I find the text to text reply is far more important. Voice to text would be ideal, alexa is hardly a fit replacement for that. The other big point of contention is the screen. While everyone has been moving to AMOLED panels, the obvious problem that it presents is for the always on display. If you can't tell time, why wear a watch? Of course, you have three options by which to tell time on this watch: always on display, press the button, or lift to view. The lift to view is what I've been going with, but it activates way too often when I'm getting ready to sleep, lighting up my retinas way too much, plus there's no easy way to look at it while you're at a meeting without drawing attention. Pressing the button kind of gets annoying, but it's better than nothing I guess. Always on would be my choice, if it weren't for the problem of sleeping like I mentioned (of course I could always turn it off but that's another annoyance to add to my routine) plus the bigger problem that it drains the battery. Actually, the biggest problem with always on is that LCD backlit panels look much better in the sunlight than AMOLEDs. There, I said it. If they made an LCD backlit panel on one of these newer watches it wouldn't look as good, but it could still be rugged and would solve many issues. Overall, there are tons of other features I could comment on, but these are the ones I deal with every day. I would love to have my pebble watch back, but those days are dead and gone, and somehow no other company has been able to replicate a usable everyday smartwatch, though this company comes really close. I think it's on the verge of greatness, if they can just iron out a couple of issues(text reply, display annoyances). I would get a Fitbit if it weren't for all the adds and bloatware that they seem to want to install now, plus Google seems to be hellbent on copying Apple with their new pixel watch. The GTS 4 mini reminds me most of a Garmin, but it's not an exact comparison. I just want to see more originality in the smartwatch market, instead of the same boring stuff over and over again. Thanks to Amazfit for making that happen.
