A comprehensive review conducted by XDA Developer’s Chris Wedel revealed the Amazfit T-Rex Ultra to be “Extremely durable outside, highly intelligent inside”. After 3 weeks of extensive testing, XDA Developers published their findings in a recent post.

Ultra-Accurate Tracking

XDA Developers praised the extremely accurate dual-band GPS tracking and support for 6 satellite systems, which bested even the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro. The biometric sensor also received great feedback, even going toe-to-toe with smartwatch category leaders – “Compared to other smartwatches, like the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro and Google Pixel Watch, the T-Rex Ultra produced very similar readings.”

Easy-to-Use Activity Partner

The review highlighted the intuitive and extensive features offered by the Zepp OS 2.0 software. It has seamless integration with Apple or Android devices and the 1.39-inch AMOLED touchscreen makes navigation quick and intuitive.

The Amazfit T-Rex Ultra was subjected to rigorous real world usage tests; the author noted the extreme durability - “I have worn this watch through a rainstorm while unclogging a gutter, working on my tractor, and burning pastures — it doesn't show a scratch.”
