Hunter McIntyre is a 3x HYROX World Champion and one of the most recognizable figures in hybrid fitness. He blends raw power with relentless endurance, making him one of the fiercest competitors in the sport. Born on the East Coast of the United States, Hunter grew up between New York City and New England before moving west. His early years outdoors shaped his adventurous, high-energy approach to training. Before competing professionally, he worked as a wildland firefighter — an experience that reinforced the toughness and bold personality he’s known for today.

Hunter first broke out in obstacle course racing, where he won multiple world titles, set a world record in the Murph Challenge, and gained national attention on Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Challenge. Transitioning into HYROX, he established himself as a dominant force, holding multiple world records and claiming podiums at the sport’s biggest events. In 2025, he finished 2nd at the HYROX World Championships, adding to his legacy as one of the sport’s pioneers.

Known for his larger-than-life presence and mantra “#BICEPSWINRACES,” Hunter trains out of Southern California, splitting time between Malibu and Crestline. With his T-Rex 3 Pro and Helio Armband, Hunter tracks recovery, effort, and performance data to refine his training and stay at the top of his game.
