Route Planning On-Watch

Create point-to-point routes directly from your wrist⁴, using preloaded maps to choose smarter traverses and more efficient climbs. Adjust as conditions change without needing to take your phone out or reconnect to a network.

Points of Interest Search

Need water, shelter, or a way back to the trailhead? Use POI search to locate important points of interest around you, then follow on-watch navigation to get there with confidence.

Automatic Rerouting

If you stray from your planned route, automatic rerouting plans a new one for you based on your real-time location and destination.

Ski & Alpine Mapping

Navigate resorts and alpine zones with detailed ski and mountain maps, including lift lines, slopes, and terrain features. Ideal for lift-accessed days, ski touring, and mixed alpine missions.

Checkpoint Display & Alerts

Mark critical locations—like shelter, water sources, altitude milestones, or turnaround points—and see them clearly on your route with dedicated checkpoint displays. Set smart reminders for key checkpoints along your route and get vibration and speaker alerts⁵ as you go.

Environmental Tools

Use the barometer and storm alerts to monitor sudden weather changes and get early warnings when conditions shift. High-altitude prompts remind you to check your blood-oxygen levels during steep climbs⁶ so you can stay aware of how your body is responding.

Built for Every Expedition

With a full suite of adventure-ready modes and advanced training tools, the T-Rex Ultra 2 is built for the way you move outdoors. Track hikes, treks, mountaineering, trail runs, strength training workouts, and more with precision metrics that help you train smart and stay prepared for the next big push. From base camp intervals to summit-day efforts, your watch keeps pace with your goals.

Stay Connected Without Breaking Stride

Even in rugged terrain, you can stay connected without pulling out your phone. Take Bluetooth calls from the trail, use Zepp Flow™ to reply to Android messages hands-free¹¹, and listen to training prompts or navigation alerts through the built-in speaker.

Notes

1. The relevant data for the military standard certification MIL-STD-810H-2019 comes from the following report: H202512228939-01EN. Prolonged exposure is not recommended as it may damage the watch and its components.

2. Indoor positioning services are not supported. Positioning speed and accuracy may be affected by the surrounding environment. The number of satellites connected to simultaneously, and specific satellite connections, may depend on your location.

3. The Amazfit T-Rex Ultra 2 can be used as a map browsing tool to import OSM map files. The offline map must match your real location to be displayed. Contour maps must be downloaded before use. When choosing a point on the map for navigation, the total distance is limited. The shown straight line back to the start of a journey may not be a practical route to follow due to environmental factors; this is only intended to help you keep track of your position in relation to the start point of the journey. Navigation functions are compatible with most outdoor sports modes.

4. Route creation has two methods: the user can choose between round-trip planning with multiple route options, or point-to-point navigation; route rerouting can only be used with point-to-point route navigation.

5. Live broadcast of turn-by-turn directions and training data via Bluetooth headphones or the built-in speaker supports English and Chinese broadcasts; this must be enabled in the watch setting.

6. When you reach 3,000+ meters, the watch will prompt you to take the blood-oxygen saturation test when you ascend over 400 meters within 24 hours; when you reach 4,000+ meters, it will prompt you to take the test when you ascend over 400 meters within 6 hours.

7. The battery life may vary according to the settings, operation conditions and other factors. So the actual result may differ from the laboratory data.

Typical usage scenario: Raise Wrist to Wake Screen (Static Watch Face) 200 times; Notification Reminder (Screen Off) 150 times; Screen-On Operation 1 time (approx. 300S); Incoming Call Reminder 3 times, approx. 30S; Auxiliary Sleep + Respiratory Sleep Monitoring Enabled for 8h; Standby Heart Rate Monitoring Always On 5min/Time; Active Heart Rate Monitoring for 2 hours.

Heavy usage scenario: Raise wrist to wake screen (static watch face) 300 times; Notification reminders (without waking screen) 150 times; Bluetooth calls 8.6 minutes per day; Bluetooth headset music playback 8.6 minutes per day; Screen wake operation 1 time (about 600S); Incoming call reminders 3 times, about 30S; GPS sports 18 minutes per day; Flashlight turned on with 2-level white light 1 time, about 30S; Auxiliary sleep + breathing sleep monitoring turned on for 8h; Standby heart rate monitoring always on 1 minute per time; Active heart rate monitoring for 5 hours.

AOD mode heavy usage scenario: (Except for 8 hours of sleep, power consumption in all other scenarios is tested with AOD mode enabled): Raise wrist to wake screen (dynamic watch face, default watch face if unavailable) 300 times under AOD; Notification reminder (screen on under AOD) 150 times; Bluetooth call 8.6 minutes per day (AOD); Bluetooth headset music playback 8.6 minutes per day (AOD); Screen-on operation 1 time (about 600S); Incoming call reminder 3 times, about 30S, (AOD); GPS sports 18 minutes per day, (AOD); Flashlight turned on for 1 time with 2nd gear white light, about 30S, (AOD); Auxiliary sleep + respiratory sleep monitoring enabled for 8 hours; Standby heart rate always on 1 minute per time; Active heart rate monitoring for 5 hours, (AOD).

Accurate GPS Mode: Enables heart rate monitoring and GPS sports (dual-frequency, all satellites).

Power Saving GPS Mode: Heart rate monitoring and GPS sports (single frequency, GPS low power consumption) are enabled.

GPS Maximum Battery Life Mode: Based on the GPS long battery life mode, it is also necessary to turn off heart rate monitoring in the sports center, Bluetooth connection, and wrist raise to wake up the screen in the settings.

Trail Running - Heavy Mode: (100% brightness + AOD on + navigation + screen on 20 times per hour); whole-kilometer voice announcements 7 times per hour; navigation voice announcements 21 times per hour; GPS sports turned on.

Trail Running - Normal Mode: (50% brightness + AOD off + 10% time spent on navigation page + voice broadcast off + GPS accuracy mode + screen on 20 times per hour); wrist raise to wake screen (navigation page) 2 times, 10 seconds each time; wrist raise to wake screen (data page) 18 times, 10 seconds each time; navigation reminder (voice off/navigation page) 21 times, 8 seconds each time; whole kilometer reminder (voice off/digital page) 7 times, 10 seconds each time.

Low Temperature Mode: Screen lights up 100 times when raising the wrist; screen lights up 12 times per kilometer; GPS sports mode always on.

Low Temperature Mode: 150 push notifications per day; 100 wrist raises to check time per day; 5 minutes of screen-on operation per day; GPS sports turned off.

8. According to the ISO 22810:2010 standard, the Amazfit T-Rex Ultra 2 achieves a rating of 10 ATM, for a water-resistance of up to 100 meters, and is therefore suitable for splashes, snow, showering, swimming, and some high-speed water sports. It has passed third-party testing conducted by SGS, and the report number is SHES250901797771. Remove the watch when taking a hot shower or trip to the sauna, since too much steam can affect the seal and make it less water-resistant in future. Do not wear the watch with a leather or metal strap when swimming – when preparing to swim, wear a silicone or fluoroelastomer strap or other suitable type. For activities where there is easy contact with bath products such as body wash, shampoo, and soapy water, if accidentally exposed, please rinse with clean water and soak for 30 minutes. For more information, please visit the support page at: support.amazfit.com

9. Suitability for, and resistance to, diving is according to EN13319:2000 (report number: SZES250900791701), ISO 6425:2018 (report number: SUER250900132071), and GB/T 18828-2022 (report number: QS2512005) standards.

10. The low temperature mode is turned off by default and needs to be enabled in the watch settings. After being enabled, whenever the temperature of the watch surface is lower than -10°C, the watch automatically enters low temperature mode, and only limited functions can be engaged at this time. Due to the physical characteristics of lithium batteries, the endurance of watches in low temperature environments will be affected to a certain extent. The battery life while in ultra-low temperature environments may vary according to the settings, operation conditions and other factors, so the actual result may differ from the laboratory data.

Ultra-low temperature operation with GPS on (-10℃ to -30℃): Wear the watch all day with low temperature mode and GPS enabled; raise wrist to see watch time 100 times; 150 pushed messages a day; bright screen operation for 5 minutes per day.

Ultra-low temperature operation with GPS off (-10℃ to -30℃): Wear the watch all day with low temperature mode enabled and GPS disabled; raise wrist to see watch time 100 times; 150 pushed messages a day; bright screen operation for 5 minutes per day.

11. Zepp Flow™ currently supports these languages: English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese. WhatsApp speech-to-text replies, and receiving of picture messages from instant messaging platforms, require connection to an Android phone with Android 7 or above.

12. Real-time performance scores and VO₂ Max are only supported within Outdoor Running, Trail Running, and Track Run modes.

13. This product and the Zepp App are not medical devices and cannot be used for medical purposes, or as basis for diagnosis of any medical condition. Detection results are provided for reference only. Please consult professional medical institutions if you feel unwell. 24-hour monitoring of heart rate and blood-oxygen saturation (SpO₂) need to be enabled in the Zepp App. For heart rate monitoring, the user must enable Auto Heart Rate Monitor in the Zepp App, and the minimum value can be set to 1 minute. Abnormal heart rate alerts and the preset value need to be set in the Zepp App. To measure blood-oxygen saturation (SpO₂), please wear the watch tightly at one finger-width from the wrist, and keep your arm still for best results. SpO₂ alerts are sent if the detected rate is too low compared to the preset value, which needs to be set in the Zepp App, at a minimum of 80%. Movement, and environmental and physical characteristics can affect speed and accuracy of monitoring and measurement. The 24-hour stress level monitoring needs to be enabled on the watch or in the Zepp App. Alerts for high stress levels are based on the preset value, and prompts for the breathing exercise need to be enabled on the watch. Smart health alerts need to be enabled in the watch settings or Zepp App. To process the one-tap measurement and other manual metric measurements, please wear the watch tightly at one finger-width from the wrist, and keep your arm still for best results. Movement, and environmental and physical characteristics can affect speed and accuracy of monitoring and measurement.

14. Sleep monitoring can record night sleep and naps that last more than 20 minutes. Sleep Breathing Quality tracking needs to be enabled in the Zepp App or in the settings of the watch’s Sleep feature.

15. Connection to peripheral Bluetooth devices only supports devices with BLE connection.

16. The materials used in the packaging box are 100% environmentally friendly, including mineral-free inks and anodized aluminum used for hot stamping.

17. 3,000nit brightness is not supported by the Low Temperature mode or if battery life is below 30%. Depending on your environment, the watch can reach up to 3,000nit brightness after automatic brightness has been enabled in the watch settings.

18. The maximum storage space for maps, music, mini programs, exercise records, and watch faces is 26.7GB (due to the system space occupied, the actual space used by the user may be less than 26.7GB).

19. Smart recognition of strength training exercises can only be engaged within the Strength Training sports mode. 25 exercises are able to be recognized at time of product release.

20. Corresponding sports modes include: Outdoor Running, Treadmill, Walking, Indoor Walking, Outdoor Cycling, Pool Swimming, Rowing Machine, Elliptical. The accuracy and sensitivity of the workout recognition feature varies from person to person, and are related to the posture and proficiency of the user during their workout.

21. Training templates and interval training templates are compatible with: Strength training, Outdoor running, Treadmill, Outdoor cycling, Indoor cycling, Rope skipping, Rowing machine, Indoor fitness, Core training, and Stair climbing, Pool swimming, Mountain biking, BMX, Race waking, Track run, Cross-training, HIIT, HYROX training.

22. The HUNT Fitness Study indicates that people who maintain a PAI score of 100 or higher show lower risk of hypertension, heart disease, and type-2 diabetes. HUNT Fitness Study: This study was conducted by Professor Ulrik Wisloff of the Faculty of Medicine, Norwegian University of Science and Technology. It lasted for more than 35 years and had more than 230,000 participants. To use this function, all-day heart rate monitoring must be enabled.
